The Life of a Darden First Year

I write this during First Coffee, which is between first and second period.  We just had Marketing and now have Operations before finishing the day with GEM (Global Economies and Markets).  Generally everything is going well, but we are, of course, staying busy.  It's hard to believe that the second quarter is almost done; it really is amazing how quickly the time has gone by.  It seems like only yesterday it was August and I barely knew everyone in my section; now I often think I probably know everyone in my section (and on my Learning Team) a little too well!  This week has been exceptionally busy; in addition to our standard course load we have the PepsiCo case competition, and I also am visiting a private company tomorrow in the hopes of ultimately securing a summer internship.  But I'm getting through it!  Generally this is a very exciting time.  And the Hoos are back in the Top 25 in hoops!  Probably not for long, but at least we're there now!
